Nonie's Place, a children's grief house powered by Covenant Care is officially open to the community as of August 1, 2023. The opening of Nonie’s Place will provide Covenant Care with a centralized location in the heart of Pensacola to continue upon their forty-year legacy of providing grief therapy to children and teens living with the loss of a loved one.
Nonie's Place answers a HUGE need in Northwest Florida! It is estimated that over 7,000 children residing in Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties will experience the loss of a parent before the age of 18. With a mission to serve families experiencing grief, Nonie's Place located at 1901 N. Palafox Street, Pensacola, offers a variety of services and programs delivered and directed by clinically-trained and licensed clinicians at no cost to the family. Programs offered will support children ages 5-18 and include one-on-one clinical counseling, group therapy, pet therapy, art therapy studios, Camp Connect, community grief education & so much more.
Covenant Care is inviting you to learn more about Nonie's Place by attending the Ribbon Cutting and Open House Event on August 10th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (with the ribbon cutting at 11:30 AM). This event will offer an opportunity to learn more about the organization's services, meet the dedicated team behind Nonie's Place, and explore the warm and welcoming environment specifically tailored to the unique needs of children and teens.
