Dr. Steven Donchey, renowned for his work in post-acute care, has been named Chief Medical Officer for Covenant Care’s Home Health, Personal, Memory, Hospice and Palliative Care patient services. Covenant Care serves the state of Florida and parts of Alabama. He was previously Associate Medical Director for Covenant Care in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties and has been practicing for more than 20 years.
Jeff Mislevy, President and CEO of Covenant Care, said Donchey’s expertise is unparalleled in the region.
“Dr. Donchey’s expertise in post-acute care is helping us take quality of patient care to the next level,” said Mislevy. “As CMO he is now overseeing patient care for home health, personal care, memory care and hospice and palliative. Dr. Donchey is an Internal Medicine specialist in Niceville, Florida. A graduate of the Ross University of Medicine, Dr. Donchey did his residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. He is affiliated with many hospitals including Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, North Okaloosa Medical Center, Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast and Twin Cities Hospital.
