Camp Connect Out of the Box! is a healing virtual camp for children ages 6- 17 who have suffered a loss, or those who have a terminally-ill loved one.
This FREE virtual camp takes place from July 26-30th from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and is totally online.
Here's how it works: Activity boxes are delivered to each participating child and the event will take palace online using Microsoft Teams Meeting.
Camp Connect Out of the Box! helps children find laughter in their tears, strength in their fears and a helping hand in their journey through grief.
The goal of our camp is to join children in our community with others who have experienced similar loss in hopes of building friendships and healing together. Using confidence-building exercises and artistic activities, Camp Connect gives children the opportunity to explore and express their emotions, equips them with a better understand of their grief and offers ways of coping with their feelings all while making connections with others who have experienced a loss.
