Covenant Care, a leading non-profit provider of post-acute healthcare services, today announces the appointment of Kristen McGehee, LCSW, LBC to the role of Chief Operating Officer.
McGehee has served in various roles at Covenant Care since 2005, most recently as Associate Vice President of Innovation. She began her career at Covenant as a hospice Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Pensacola branch. After transitioning to the leadership team in 2010, she served organization in several roles, including Director of Education, Senior Director of Transformation, and Associate Vice President of Hospice Services.
Throughout her career, McGehee has demonstrated a passion for improving patient experiences, growing service lines, modernizing processes and strategically positioning Covenant Care to continue providing world-class care as the organization expands its service area. McGehee holds a master’s degree in social work with a specialization in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
"I am excited for the opportunity to serve our organization in this role,” said McGehee. “I look forward to continuing our tradition of quality care, servant leadership, and a renewed focus on innovative care delivery.” McGehee and her husband, Matt, are approaching 16 years of marriage. They are proud to call Pensacola home and together are raising their daughter, Vivian.
