Family Caregivers are the backbone of today’s health care.
A growing and specialized need for caregiver support exists among veterans and military families.
Service term is from September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2022
Member Commitments:
8-10 hours a week per service term
Visit the same families each week to assist with friendly visits, recreational activities, errands, light housekeeping and/or light meal preparation
Pre-service training provided
Attend monthly trainings
Members do not assist with personal care, medications, heavy lifting or transferring
Member Qualifications:
Be a Veteran or be an immediate relative of a Veteran
Have reliable transportation
Availability 2-3 days weekly
Pass multiple level background check
US citizen or lawful resident
Have basic computer skills and access to a computer
HS diploma or equivalent
Driver’s license/auto insurance

We accept members ages 18 and up.
